A NEW KIND OF MOBILITY SOLUTION

Difficulty walking can happen to anyone and for a variety of reasons ranging from injuries to arthritis to problems with the feet, heart or lungs

But for many, a wheelchair or bulky, heavy, lead-acid powered four-wheel scooter just isn’t the right solution. For example, you may have adequate strength, movement or mobility to stand and walk for short distances but aren’t able to handle the walk from the parking lot to the football stadium or theater, or can’t enjoy shopping or walks in the park with your spouse or grandchildren. To join the fun, you need a lightweight scooter that can go anywhere with you.

SET UP AND GO

The base SNAPnGO weighs only 28 pounds — about the same as a packed suitcase — and folds easily to fit in your back seat or trunk. To set it up, step on the foot pedal to raise the t-bar and snap it into running position, insert the seat post to attach the seat. You’re ready to go!

EASY FOR EVERYONE

Highly maneuverable and easy to drive, you simply press the right thumb control to go forward, the left thumb control for reverse and squeeze the left brake lever to stop. In addition, the release of the throttle engages an electronic motor brake for smooth stopping and precision control. The mechanical rear brakes will ensure additional stopping power when needed. When darkness falls, front and rear LED lights help keep you safe. It has three speed settings to accommodate various environments and has a rider weight capacity of up to 300 pounds.

I had this scooter for 4 month and absolutely love it. I took it on an extended trip to Europe – no problems taking it on airplanes – in Europe I was even allowed to keep it in the airport and gate check it. It was a lifesaver in Tuscany where I visited Florence and could take it into the museums and basilicas.
A joy driving around Verona, Lucca and even Sienna and San Gimignano which have some very steep hills. The scooter handled curbs up 2” OK. Riding on some cobblestones was a bit rough but manageable, however it does not do well on gravel – hard dirt was no problem.
The walking companions were tired long before my battery was at 25% level – so no problem there.
All in all I can say that this scooter proved itself great under demanding practical circumstances – a sold 5*.

I have cerebral palsy which limits my mobility. I already have a standard mobility scooter for real long distances but it is time-consuming to assemble/disassemble. What I wanted was a scooter that I could always leave in my trunk and would be very easy and quick to assemble.

The aspects I specifically looked at were size and overall weight. The scooter needed to fit in the trunk of my mid-size sedan (without taking up all of the space) and be light enough for me to quickly remove/load myself. After researching a couple other scooters, I finally settled on the Glion Snap-N-Go.

The scooter came with a standard seat with armrests. While this seat is extremely comfortable (can’t stress enough how comfortable it is), it is bulky and quite heavy. I ordered the optional travel/bicycle seat after having the scooter for just one day. For my purposes, the bicycle seat is perfect. It’s very light, takes up no space in my trunk and is easy to attach to the scooter. This isn’t a comfortable seat for long rides but, for going in and out of stores, it’s perfect.

I’ll explain my Pros and Cons of the Snap N Go scooter. A lot of these opinions come from comparing this scooter to a standard mobility scooter.

Once I lift the scooter out of the trunk, all that needs to be done is raise the handlebar assembly and lock it into its upright position. The one negative about this operation is that it requires me to step down on a release lever. As a disabled person, it’s tough for me to raise one leg and step down on this lever. Once that’s done, I just drop the bicycle seat into position, turn on the power switch, and take off. Very quick!

The Snap N Go has more than enough power when operating on flat surfaces. And it is fast! No complaints here. But it is not as powerful as a standard mobility scooter. And this is understandable. A standard scooter is rear-wheel drive with a larger, heavier motor. I wouldn’t sacrifice the Snap N Go’s lightweight design for a stronger motor. The only time I notice the lack of power is when I’m trying to push my way through a heavy door.

The scooter is propelled forward with a thumb throttle on the right handlebar. A throttle on the left side moves the scooter backward. This design is my biggest complaint. In my opinion both forward and reverse throttles should be on the same side. If you’re in a situation that requires you to switch between forward and reverse, you have to switch hands to accomplish this. It’s not convenient if you are holding something in one hand at the time.

The battery life is amazing! My scooter sits in my trunk for many days at a time between uses and I’m yet to have the battery level drop below 50%. I’ve had the scooter for several months and only charged it twice. Now, all my uses are for short, indoor trips; if I used it more often and for longer distances, I’m sure the battery would drain quicker.

This scooter is great for what I wanted. Customer service has been great, answering my questions. I hope Glion continues to work on future models in the years to come.

What Our Customers Are Saying

  • "Glion has really made the difference and this scooter has been incredible for this old fart. I appreciate the scooter but more importantly, appreciate Robert and his team to provide the A+ customer service.  Thanks guys!!"--Michael
  • "If Tesla made scooters it would look like this.  Maybe.  With all its features, customer support, and performance I give it a solid 5 stars.
  • "It's strudy build, love that it's foldable, lighter to lift into the car than another scooter I tried. Support team helpful."
  • "I am so thankful for my Glion Snap N Go. This mobility scooter is the only model that I can quickly assemble alone without my husband's help. I am able to transport the scooter in my small car daily which enables me to go to work."--Alisha
  • "We are evaluating this with another company. We were very impressed with the quality built into this. A scooter of this weight and user flexibility was way overdo in the US but it is finally available thanks to the folks at GLION. It is very manageable in & out of a car & can be made even lighter by removing the basket, cup holder & arm rests for elderly or disabled users. We love it!"
  • "I  had a small part to this product that I needed a replacement for. Their customer spokesperson was very helpful in getting my replacement to me. If you have any questions or follow-up, definitely connect with their customer support. They're super helpful!"
  • "Best purchase in decades!"
  • "I’m writing to tell you that I am completely blown away by the customer service at Glion.  I don’t think I have EVER felt so cared for as a customer.  I bought my Snapngo about a month ago and have had several questions before and after the purchase.  You and your technical support staff have been so responsive in answering my emails, texts, and telephone inquires.  On issues such as setting a lock code on the keypad/lcd to replacing a part that I broke, Glion has been there, providing me with the information I needed. Uncharacteristically, for the usual level of customer service one experiences these days, Glion’s staff has shown me the courtesy, care and concern, that tells me my business is appreciated and that my satisfaction is a priority for your company and its employees.  I just spoke to Robert on your sales team. He aided me in obtaining a replacement part and told me he will contact me when other parts can be obtained.  Usually I am skeptical when a company tells me they’ll be in touch.  Not so with Glion.  Your outstanding responsiveness in the past assures me that promises will be kept.  I only wish other companies would learn that outstanding service results in customer satisfaction and loyalty. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Glion scooters to anyone who would need such a helpful (and fun) conveyance."
  •  "I just want to thank SNAPnGO for such a wonderful product. My son has not been able to walk for the last 10 years without crutches or a wheelchair, both of which would leave him exhausted. Your mobility scooter has given him back his independence. Last week we even flew to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday and he was able to ride it right up to the plane and then all over the strip! Other young people stopped to ask him about it, and taxi drivers were impressed with how light it was! Now that we know how easy it is to fly with, we hope to take him on vacation to Europe with it! Here is a picture of him riding it up to the plane doors." Thanks again, -Lianela
